Family 咨询委员会 (FAC)

The Family 咨询委员会 (FAC) plays an active role in contributing to the hospital's mission of providing family-centered care. 家庭顾问 are members of the hospital team who provide input and feedback to help decision making at many levels. This diverse group of families work with children’s hospital staff to promote and enhance patient safety and quality.

The eight-member council of family advisors are excited to be a resource for you! They are involved and experienced caregivers who can offer assistance and provide feedback on various projects and in your decision-making processes. Assisted in the revision of the Waters Center clinic visitor policy
Participated Solutions for Patient Safely New York Region Conferences
Filmed a training video for Residents on Disclosure
Provided input for a 12E discharge planning poster project
Provided input for "Kelly's Comfort Zone" closets providing evening and weekend amenities for patients and families
Serve on bi-monthly in-hospital Quality and Safety Committee
